Buddy was the sweetest member of the family, friendly with everyone, allergic to conflict, and always willing to accompany anyone who wanted to walk around their community where everyone knew him. So when he died last week at the age of ten, both family and neighbors mourned. 
 
What happens when a favorite pet dog dies? Howie Severino and his pet-loving team find out when they shadow the process that takes Buddy from his home to his burial in a secluded pet cemetery in Cavite. They spend time with his grieving human family, but also with his cat friend who appears to pay its last respects to Buddy before he’s picked up by a pet funeraria. 
 
This documentary explores the relationship between pets and their masters, who must accept that pets often don’t live long. It’s also a chance for Howie himself to feature his family’s lovable shitzu Rex. 
 
In a society often more known for cruelty to animals and other living things, “Buddy ng Pamilya” highlights corners of compassion and kindness, and the great joys of having a loyal pet at your side.

Saan ba napupunta ang mga paborito nating alaga na lumisan na? Makikita ito ni Howie Severino at ng kaniyang team nang sunduin ng isang punerarya si Buddy.  Dinala si Buddy sa isang pet cemetery sa Cavite at doon nila makikilala ang pamilyang nagmahal kay Buddy.
 
Mabubuksan ng dokumentaryo ang masaya at madalas, makulit na relasyon sa pagitan ng aso at ng amo nito. Ito rin ang pagkakataon para mapakilala ang aso ng pamilya ni Severino, ang cute na shih tzu na si Rex.
 
Sa lipunan kung saan laganap din ang pagmamalupit sa hayop, makikita sa “Buddy ng Pamilya” ang malasakit, pagmamahal at kasiyahang dala ng isang tapat na alaga.
