Ngayong Huwebes sa Pinas Sarap, samahan si Kara David libutin ang lungsod ng Malabon para sa isang masarap na food adventure. Lalantakan natin ang iba’t ibang seafood dishes nila at susubukan din natin ang kanilang tricycle food tour.

Sagana sa seafoods ang Malabon dahil dito matatagpuan ang isa sa pinakamalaking pondohan o bagsakan ng isda at iba pang lamandagat sa Metro Manila. Titikman natin ipinagmamalaki nilang shrimp embutido, pati na rin ang seafood ala dampa na pinasarap ng pusit, tahong at hipon. Sa Kasarap, ipagluluto naman tayo ni Kara ng chili garlic shrimp.


Ang Malabon, mula sa salitang labong o kawayan. Marami raw kasing kawayan sa lungsod noon. Ilan sa natatangi nilang lutuin, ginamitan ng labong ng kawayan gaya ng ginisang labong sa saluyot, o kaya naman ay niluto mismo sa kawayan tulad ng linutnot na hito.


Susubukan din natin ang Malabon tricycle food tour kung saan iikutin natin ang lungsod para tikman ang mga signature dishes nila gaya ng lugaw, puto pao, crispy pata, kakanin, pancit malabon at fluffy broas.

Join Kara David as she tours the City of Malabon for another yummy food adventure. Various seafood dishes will be shown, Kara will also go on a tricycle food tour.
Malabon is abundant in seafoods, since here is where one of the biggest fish ports in Metro Manila is located. Try out their pride recipe shrimp embutido, as well as seafood dampa with squid, mussel and shrimp. Kara will also cook chili garlic shrimp.
The word Malabon is derived from the word labong or bamboo. This is because there used to be many bamboos growing in Malabon. Some of the unique dishes with bamboo shoots are sautéed bamboo shoot with saluyot and the dish with catfish that is cooked in bamboo called linutnot.
Kara will go on a Malabon tricycle food tour, it’s a tour in different restaurants in Malabon to try out various signature dishes in the city, like congee, puto pao or rice cake, crispy pata, sticky rice, pancit malabon and fluffy broas.
