Tikman ang mga putaheng pinasarap ng ampalaya, gaya ng suam with ampalaya leaves, ampalaya dumplings, ampalaya guisado with egg and sardines, at beef and rice stuffed with baked amplaya.



Kadalasang inaayawan ng mga bata ang ampalaya dahil sa pait ng lasa. Pero dahil sa mga panghimagas na ito, siguradong papatok sa kanila ang ampalaya!
