These include once having made the longest sausage, the longest barbecue and once having the most number of people brush their teeth at the same time. The country has also been listed in the book before for the shameful reason of having what is said to be the dirtiest river in the world, the Tullahan River. People hoped that this embarrassment would not happen again but history repeated itself. Recently, the Guinness Book of World Records cited the Philippines as having the most number of murders based on data from the United Nations in 2004. While some dispute this, others say that the Guinness entry only mirrors the appalling state of crime in the country. How do authorities address the issue? In some peryas or small carnivals, however, it is not unusual for kids to do these dangerous stunts just to be able to earn even a small amount of money. According to the International Labor Organization, putting children in unsafe situations is considered a form of abuse. Why are children allowed to continue performing these acts in peryas then?

Para sa pagkakagawa ng pinakamahabang longganiza at barbecue at para sa pinakaraming taong sabay-sabay na nagsepilyo.
