Episode on May 21, 2011 Saturday 8:45 AM ‘SABADABADOG!’ PREMIERES THIS SATURDAY, MAY 21 Starting this Saturday, May 21, GMA 7 unveils its newest children’s show, ‘Sabadabadog!’ ‘Sabadabadog!’ is a 30-minute educational program designed for Filipino preschoolers aged 3-6 years old. The program offers entertaining, age-appropriate, culturally-relevant songs, stories, dances, animation, mascot segments, learning segments, short features, music videos and other formats which aims to help in all aspects of early childhood care and development. Featuring veteran children’s program host Kuya Tonipet Gaba, the program also stars four new lovable mascots that kids would surely love— Don Kahon, Mei-Mei, Bebe Garu, and Sabadabadog who join the kiddie viewers in fun, learning and play activities. From the same creative and production team who brought you the long-running and awardwinning children’s program ‘Art Angel’, ‘Sabadabadog!’ is a production of GMA Public Affairs. It airs every Saturdays, 8:45am, on GMA. EPISODE #1: ‘INTRODUCTION’ For it's pilot episode, Kuya Tonipet introduces his four mascot friends Don Kahon, Mei-mei, Bebe Garu and Sabadabadog. Don Kahon finds an old tire and gives it to Kuya Tonipet. What can we do with an old tire? In the language segment, Kuya Tonipet narrates the story of ‘Dingdong Gulong’ as Sabadabadog introduces the letter ‘M’. Don Kahon visits the bike lanes of the Quezon City Memorial Circle. Mei-mei introduces the unique shape of a circle, as Bebe Garu teaches us her ‘circle dance.’ In the end, what did Kuya Tonipet make out of the old tire? A production of GMA Public Affairs, Sabadabadog! airs every Saturday, 845am, on GMA 7 under the direction of Manny Angeles.
