Hackers strike again, deface CD-R King website

Hackers struck a Philippine website again on Tuesday, this time defacing the online store of a popular seller of low-priced computer accessories. The hackers altered the CD-R King New Products page, erasing all the names and photos of the merchandise. "Hacked by Fending" was scrawled ominously in place of the product names. Meanwhile, the CD-R King home page indicated it was "Under Maintenance" and will be back online "in a while." Both pages were still online as of 5pm Tuesday. The defacing of the website came a week after the government ordered an investigation into the defacing of five government websites since December. Defaced since December were the sites of the Departments of Health, Labor and Employment, and Social Welfare and Development; National Disaster Coordinating Council; and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. - TJD, GMANews.TV
