Report: CIA site hacked, defaced

Less than a week after it was attacked, the US Central Intelligence Agency’s website was again attacked, and defaced this time by an Indian hacker who gained access to it. The hacker, “lionaneesh," claimed to gain access to the CIA site by exploiting an XSS vulnerability – and even taunted the US agency after the hack. “CIA is not so intelligent," the hacker said in their Twitter account, which listed lionaneesh’s name as Aneesh Dogra. The hacker even sent a Twitter message to LulzSec, a hacker group that claimed responsibility for an earlier attack on the CIA site. "Good Work, I wanna ask you something... By seeing your acts I see that we are quite similar in our acts, I really wanted to join (you)," the message to LulzSec said. Earlier this week, the CIA website became sporadically inaccessible, with LulzSec claiming responsibility for the attack. While the supposed defaced page was taken down around 4 a.m. Saturday (Manila time), a screenshot of it was posted on The Hacker News.
