#YouTubeDown goes viral as video streaming site says it is looking into reports of user access issues
Roughly an hour later, YouTube is back up.
YouTube users have taken to social media Wednesday morning (Manila time) to report an unusual outage in the highly popular video streaming site.
The hashtag #YouTubeDown is currently trending on Twitter with over 90,000 tweets and counting.

YouTube, the Google-owned streaming service, said it was looking into reports of issues with its services after several people took to Twitter to complain about broadcasting issues.
"Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed," YouTube said in a tweet.

According to The Verge, "Users across the world started to notice that the video service’s sites and mobile apps were down around 9:20pm ET, and everything remains inaccessible more than half an hour later.
