Pinoy team bags third place in robotics world championship

A Filipino team raised the flag high at the 2023 Vex Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas.

Composed of Gian Casimiro, Alonso Pioquinto, and Jio Hernandez, Arrowhead Robotics clinched the championship in the Research Division and finished third overall.

The Vex Robotics World Championship is the largest robotics competition in the world, with 800 teams from 70 countries participating in the event.

To win the right to present their countries, over 4,600 teams had to battle through the 2022-23 VEX IQ MS Robotics season.
