Short python caught in Davao City

A three-foot-long python believed to have come from the Davao River was caught in a net in a house in Davao City before dawn Tuesday.

 

The Zamora family was alerted to the python at about 3 a.m. due to the barking of their dog, according to a report by GMA Davao.

 

"Pag-flashlight ko nakita ko ang malaking sawa. Sabi ko sa asawa ko, may ahas dito. Sabi niya tumawag ka ng rescuer," said house caretaker Gregorio Zamora.
