Pawikan turtles rescued off Romblon

A group of sea turtles (pawikan) was rescued after being beached in Odiongan in Romblon province.

 

Residents rescued the pawikan after seeing them, GMA News stringer Paul Jaysent Fos reported Friday.

 

Photos posted by Fos showed barangay residents helping the turtles.

 

It was not immediately clear what caused the turtles to be beached in the area.
