Mark Zuckerberg gives video tour of new Facebook HQ

Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, posted the social networking site's first live video event from its new headquarters in California.

In the video, Zuckerberg toured users around the workplace and even gave a glimpse of his own desk.

He took pride in the fact that the headquarters didn't have offices but just desks for its people.

"Every one has a desk, even the people who are running the company. There are no special offices," Zuckerberg said.

On his desk were books, a model of a satellite and an airplane that "is going to beam down Internet access." 

Facebook employees moved into the new space only two months ago, the CEO said.

The livestream went viral, reaching six million views in less than 24 hours since it was posted.
