Mag-5.6 quake hit west of Bohol; aftershocks expected —Phivolcs
A magnitude 5.6 earthquake shook the western part of Bohol Island in Central Visayas Saturday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tectonic quake was located 09.35°N, 124.03°E - 028 km S 15° W of Lila in Bohol with a depth of 551 kilometers.

It was felt at Intensity I in Catbalogan, Samar and Borongan, Eastern Samar,
No damage is expected from the quake but Phivolcs expects aftershocks from the quake.
The bulletin issued on 9:15 a.m. on Saturday is expected to be the only update issued on the quake unless additional information becomes available. —Rie Takumi/LBG, GMA News
