Pygmy sperm whale found dead in Davao had plastic, condom, junk food packs in stomach

A female pygmy sperm whale was found dead on the shores of Barangay Ilang, Davao City.

A necropsy was conducted and revealed that the pygmy sperm whale ingested plastic, condom, junk food package, and other plastic items.

These items got stuck in the animal's intestine, which may have caused it to have difficulty eating.

The pygmy sperm whale is considered endangered. —KG, GMA News
