Yellow rainfall warning up over Zambales area —PAGASA
Zambales continues to be under yellow rainfall warning with possible flooding in the area due to the prevailing Southwest Monsoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
In its Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 3 released 2:00 p.m., PAGASA said the warning covers San Felipe, San Narciso, San Marcelino, San Antonio, Castillejos, Subic, and Olongapo.
"Flooding is possible in low-lying areas and near river channels," according to the advisory.
PAGASA raises yellow rainfall advisory when the expected amount of rain is between 7.5 mm and 15 mm within one hour and likely to continue.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, and the rest of Zambales.
Tropical storm Enteng (international name: Jangmi) was also on track to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday afternoon, as monsoon rains continue to affect the Luzon and the Visayas regions. —LBG, GMA NEws
