Localized thunderstorms to bring isolated rain over Metro Manila -PAGASA

Localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA announced Saturday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

At 3 p.m., the center of tropical storm Bising was estimated at 1,060 kilometers east-northeast of Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 105 kph.

It is moving east-southeastward at 15 kph.

A severe weather bulletin on Bising will be issued at 11 p.m. on Saturday. -MDM, GMA News
