Easterlies to bring scattered rain over east-central Philippines –PAGASA
The easterlies would bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Regions, weather bureau PAGASA said on Sunday.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.
The Batanes and Babuyan Islands, on the other hand, would experience cloudy skies with light rain due to northeasterly surface windflow.
Flash floods or landslides were possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
These conditions were due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms. — DVM, GMA News
