Magnitude 5.0 earthquake strikes Davao Oriental

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit Davao Oriental on Sunday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
The tectonic quake occurred at 7:00 a.m.
Its epicenter was traced to 07.53°N, 126.46°E - 012 km S 66° W of the municipality of Baganga.
The earthquake had a depth of 129 km.
Instrumental intensities were recorded as follows:
- Intensity II - Nabunturan, Davao de Oro; and
- Intensity I - Malapatan, and Alabel, Sarangani; Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; General Santos City, South Cotabato.
PHIVOLCS said no damage is expected but aftershocks may occur. —KG, GMA Integrated News
