Virgin Galactic recently took its first paying customers aboard a rocket-powered plane that climbed up to 52 miles above sea level.
At that altitude, the curvature of the Earth can be seen and passengers experience weightlessness.
So how much do you have to shell out for this experience?
According to Kuya Kim's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, Virgin Galactic offers a seat on their spaceflight for $450,000 or around P25 million!
In its first commercial spaceflight, among Virgin Galactic's passengers include three members of the Italian Air Force and National Research Council of Italy.
Two pilots and a trainer were also among the crew.
The trip took 75 minutes and ended when they landed at the Spaceport America in New Mexico.
Two years ago, Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson flew to space in a test flight in the hopes of kickstarting the space tourism industry.
