iPad 2 prices dropped by up to PhP6,000

Right after the announcement of the new 3rd-gen iPad, prices of the old iPad 2 have been cut by PhP5,000 to PhP6,000 on the Apple Online Store. While the Apple store is being hammered by millions of visitors trying to make the pre-orders, the iPad 2 price on the Apple Philippine Store got a bit of an update.  

The previous prices of the iPad 2 are the following:  

16GB WiFi – PhP23,990 32GB WiFi – PhP28,990 64GB WiFi – PhP33,990  

16GB 3G+WiFi – PhP30,990 32GB 3G+WiFi – PhP35,990 64GB 3G+WiFi – PhP40,990  

By now, and once you are able to login to the online store, prices should have been adjusted to the following:  

New iPad 2 prices: 16GB WiFi – PhP18,990 32GB WiFi – PhP23,990 64GB WiFi – PhP28,990  

16GB 3G+WiFi – PhP24,990 32GB 3G+WiFi – PhP29,990 64GB 3G+WiFi – PhP34,990  

That’s PhP5,000 and PhP6,000 off of the original prices of WiFi and 3G+WiFi models, respectively, while the SRP of the upcoming 3rd-gen iPad will take the original figures. — Yugatech.com
