Alleged nude pics of 'Glee' star Heather Morris' leaked by hackers

Actress Heather Morris of the hit television show "Glee" is the latest celebrity to fall prey to hackers, who leaked alleged nude photos of her onto the Internet.

 

Computer security firm Sophos reported that the pictures were supposedly stolen by hackers from the 25-year-old Morris' mobile phone.

 

In a blog post, it noted there is no sign of involvement by Christopher Chaney of Florida in the latest nude-photo incident. Chris Chaney not involved

 

Chaney in November 2011 had pleaded not guilty to hacking into the email and cellphones of some 50 people, including Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis.

 

He claimed he was driven by "addiction" and apologized for his actions, but denied selling private celebrity photographs to websites and magazines.

 

"There's no suggestion that Chaney is involved in the latest incident involving Heather Morris," Sophos said. Other celebrity victims

 

Sophos noted Morris is not the first celebrity to have fallen victim to a nude photo hacker.

 

In 2011, nude photos and videos of Vanessa Hudgens, the star of "High School Musical," were leaked to the Internet after it was claimed that her Gmail account was hacked.

 

Other famous victims of hacking have included Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.

 

"Whenever one of these stories hits the social networks, there are inevitably thousands of hot-blooded men who turn to internet search engines, hoping to find the explicit photos. And, equally predictably, there are often cybercriminals waiting to exploit the trending topic - disguising their malware to appear as if it is a sleazy picture or movie," Sophos warned.  Morris' statement

 

For her part, Morris has yet to issue an official statement on the matter, although she had earlier told showbiz gossip blog Extra  that she was not "ashamed" of nude modeling photos that had surfaced online in 2010. 

"I understand completely where it came from. For me, I think they are beautiful. It's not something I'm ashamed of. Everybody should do tasteful beautiful nudes -- so when you get older you're gonna be like, 'Oh that's when my body looked so great!'" she said. — TJD, GMA News
