Batman: Arkham City gets Game of the Year Edition

Batman: Arkham City was one of the biggest titles to ever grace the gaming scene in 2011, and it was undoubtedly one of the best depictions of the Masked Manhunter in a video game adventure, allowing gamers and fans alike to experience The Dark Knight and his universe in an almost flawless environment worthy of his nature.

According to Kotaku.com, Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios are gearing up to release the much-anticipated Game Of The Year Edition of Arkham City, which will feature all of the previously released downloadable content in addition to the main game.

The re-release and DLC scene for the game is “Harley Quinn’s Revenge”, which was previously hinted at by the developers as a new campaign that picks up after the final events of Arkham City.

As the title implies, the story focuses on Harley Quinn, The Joker’s girlfriend, who’s bent on exacting her vengeance on the Caped Crusader after what happened to her puddin’ by the game’s end.

Batman won’t be alone in this adventure, as his sidekick Robin joins him to put a stop to Quinn and her henchmen once and for all. The DLC content is due for release on April 30, while Batman: Arkam City GOTY edition is due for rerelease for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on May 29. — TJD, GMA News
