Origami: the world's first condom for backdoor sex
An accordion-shaped device with an interesting back story may turn out to be the world's first condom designed specifically for safe anal sex.
The inventor, Origami Condoms' Danny Resnic, said he had a "life-changing incident" that prompted him to invent the device.

“In 1993, I had a life changing incident, a broken condom and a HIV diagnosis. This drastically changed my view about condoms,” he said, according to an article on Fridae.asia.
The company launched its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo on May 7.
Origami Condoms' product is specifically designed for receptive anal intercourse, for men and women.
However, it may not be commercially available until at least 2015, pending approvals by the proper authorities.
The device is the first to be made with injection-molded engineered silicone instead of latex or animal skin.
Origami Condoms said the O.R.A.I condom aims to "facilitate a pleasurable and safe experience for both partners, increase its acceptability, improve sensation and comfort, and influence consistent condom compliance for those who engage in anal intercourse and are at risk for contracting HIV/AIDS, and STI/STD.”
But the product must first earn the nod of the Food and Drug Administration, World Health Organization, and C-Mark (EU)'s safety standards. — TJD, GMA News
