The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC coming to consoles
By Tim G. Villasor
Despite being a long way off from releasing their zombie apocalypse adventure game sequel, Telltale Games is already hard at work at preparing a supplementary follow-up to their 2012 “Spike VGA Game Of The Year” triumph that is “The Walking Dead”.
Called “The Walking Dead: 400 Days”, the new downloadable content is an additional episode to the events that make up the first season, with five new characters being introduced and the story an entirely new tale that happens just as the events that feature Lee and Clementine take place.

First shown at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, here’s teaser trailer to The Walking Dead: 400 Days:
Following the announcement and trailer, Telltale issued a press release for the DLC content:
“Available this summer, The Walking Dead: 400 Days will be available for purchase on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation Network, as an in-app purchase for compatible iOS devices, and on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store and other digital outlets.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days chronicles the horrific aftermath of the undead outbreak through the eyes of five new characters as they struggle to survive the first 400 days of the apocalypse. Playable in any order, the five connected short stories are centered in and around a Georgia truck stop, where players will be thrust into horrifying situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.
The Walking Dead: Season One is coming to the PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system and will include The Walking Dead: 400 Days. Featuring hybrid touch controls unique to PS Vita, fans can now take the apocalypse on the road and enjoy the entirety of Season One in one package.”
Expected to circle around five different characters and their stories, The Walking Dead: 400 Days is slated for release for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, Xbox 360, and PS3 platforms sometime this July. Playstation Vita owners will get the full season one game and the DLC content via a special bundle, and will be released commercially for the portable device on August.
