Holy old school, Batman! Dark Knight Tale told in 8-bit
Holy old school, Batman! The tale of the Dark Knight has now been retold through an 8-bit game-like video, all in less than four minutes.
CineFix "gamified" the tale of the Dark Knight by depicting the story in the environment of a 1980s Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game, complete with arcade sounds.
"Today we present Batman: The Dark Knight in the form of a video game, and an awesome 8-bit contest!" CineFix said in the caption of the video posted to YouTube.
Old-school 8-bit gaming, with all its blocky graphics, debuted in the 1980s with gaming consoles from Japanese companies Nintendo and Sega.
A separate report on tech site Mashable noted Batman's nemesis Joker make an appearance on the video.
"The video shows Batman tirelessly working to defeat the Joker, all with a musical backdrop that recreates the film's original soundtrack in a Nintendo-style," it said.
Within four minutes, the clip touches on the film's entire plot, it added. — VC, GMA News
