Possible video of iPad 5 leaked by Chinese supplier

A Chinese parts supplier has leaked online a video of what could be the iPad 5, the latest iteration of Apple Inc.'s popular tablet.

Enthusiast site MacRumors.com said the video by Chinese parts supplier sw-box.com showed a slate-gray enclosure of the next iPad.

"As shown in the video, the iPad 5 will adopt a similar design to the currently shipping iPad mini. The new iPad is expected to debut in October," it said.

MacRumors.com noted videos and images of iPad 5 parts have been making the rounds of the Internet in past weeks.

It said the most recent video "does a good job detailing the physical differences between the iPad 4 and iPad 5."

Earlier rumors about the iPad 5 indicated it may borrow some design cues from the iPad mini. — TJD, GMA News
