Free movies for teachers on Sunday from DepEd and Microsoft

Teachers can expect a pre-Christmas treat this weekend from Microsoft and SM Cinemas, in appreciation of their efforts for the rest of the year.

 

A post on the Department of Education's Twitter account on Friday said the "Free Movie Day" will be on Sunday, Dec22, which it said is an "appreciation day for teachers."

 

It said the free movie day will be "in all SM cinemas for teachers and their loved ones." 

 

But teachers who want to avail of the free movie may have to sign up with Microsoft's "Partners in Learning" network at www.pil-network.com 

 

Partners in Learning Philippines said the activity is open to all educators, public and private, K-12, as well as universities.

 

"In our effort to show our appreciation and gratitude to our teachers, Microsoft, together with SM cinemas will treat ALL TEACHERS to a FREE MOVIE SCREENING on December 22 in all SM malls nationwide," it said on its Facebook page. — KDM, GMA News
