Thwack! This rubber-band gatling gun fires 14 shots a second
Who says Gatling guns are expensive and no fun?
For just £85, a Ukranian student has created a Gatling gun that can fire 14 rubber bands a second - perfect for the trigger-happy office prankster.
Dubbed the Rubber Band Machine Gun, the 16-barrel weapon can fire 672 rubber bands up to eight meters (26 feet), at 14 shots a second.

The rapid-fire gadget is expected to go on sale early this year—and comes in three colors, UK's The Daily Mail reported.
"Everyone loved having rubber band fights as kids and now children of all ages can enjoy practicing their shooting skills with a Rubber Band Machine Gun," said design student Alex Shpetniy, 18, who designed the "toy."
"With my Rubber Band Gun Machine everyone can feel like Rambo, launching a rubber storm, and throwing a pound of rubber bands into their opponent," he added.
It uses five AA batteries to power its motor and can be reloaded in minutes, the report said.
Fund-raising
Shpetniy took inspiration from one of the world's first rapid-fire weapons, the Gatling gun.
Shpetniy spent a year developing the "toy," which he considers the world’s most advanced rubber band gun.
The project is currently soliciting funding on Kickstarter, but has already far exceeded its initial funding goal of $5,000: with three more days to go as of Tuesday, the project already has over $95,000 in pledges. — TJD, GMA News
