Twitter web app gets facelift, now looks like iOS, Android brethren

Twitter on Tuesday (Manila time) rolled out a facelift for its Web version to resemble its apps in mobile platforms such as iOS and Android.

Users who logged into their Twitter accounts were greeted with a slightly wider area for content and a clean white design.

A report on tech site The Verge said the new look "replaces the dark black navigation bar at the top of the site with a clean white design."

But it added the navigational elements such as Connect, Discover, and so on "all remain the same."

"There's not much to see beyond that—the design of Twitter.com is just a bit lighter. When a service builds for many platforms, its designs invariably get out of sync. Today's update brings the web, Android, and iOS just a bit closer together," it said.

Also, The Verge said the update lets users add an accent color to their profiles. — VC, GMA News
