PHL startup unveils VIP app

It's a rags-to-riches kind of story of an entirely different sort: what started out as a college thesis is now offering unlimited access to Metro Manila's hottest clubs.

Guestlist.ph, which unveiled its first app last December, now has a “VIP Membership” feature that makes partying easy.

“Partying made easy has been our main objective and since we have launched the Guestlist.ph iOS app, we want to cater to the needs of our growing market and offer more rewards to our App users.”  Ron Baetiong, Founder and CEO of Guestlist.ph, said.

App users of Guestlist.ph, which has about 23,000 members, can avail of one month, three months, six months and a year with a corresponding amount.

The startup began as Baetiong’s college thesis in 2009 as an Entrepreneur student.

“With this feature, our App users will enjoy access to any clubs featured on Guestlist.ph anytime they want, even beyond the guest list cut-off period, 2) may tag along their friends just like a real “VIP”, and 3) free drinks in our chosen clubs,” he said.

The VIP Membership comes in three packages:

  • Silver VIP – an all-access pass to all clubs in North of Manila
  • Gold VIP – an all-access pass to all clubs in South of Manila
  • Platinum VIP – an all-access to all clubs featured on Guestlist.ph plus exclusive parties like raves and concerts.

This  VIP privilege can be purchased in reasonable prices. Silver VIP subscription at Php499/1-month, Php1,499/3-months, Php2,999/6-months, or Php5,999/1-year.

Users may also have the privilege of tagging  friends by purchasing a plus 1 package worth Php249, or plus 2 in Php499, and plus 3 worth Php1,499.

“What’s even more exciting is that we are also releasing the Android version of the Guestlist.ph App on March along with the Gold and Platinum Membership subscription will be available by the second quarter,” said Baetiong.

Also, Baetiong eagerly announced that they are adding more features with the Guestlist.ph mobile app such as:

  • Bottle service, that would allow App users to buy drinks before they go to the club
  • Table Reservations, which would allow App users to book tables and chip in with their friends
  • Party Rewards, wherein App users earn party points giving them more privileges.
