GoT’s ‘Syrio Forel’ joins Star Wars VII cast
By MICHAEL LOGARTA

What do we say to the god of death? "Use the Force."
Because, obviously, starring in HBO’s hit “Game of Thrones” is a surefire way to guarantee your career stays nice and healthy long after your tenure in the notorious killathon of a fantasy series has ended.
Miltos Yerolemou may have only appeared in the first season of the show, but his role as Arya Stark’s sword fighting instructor, the “dancing master” Syrio Forel, is a memorable one. And now he will be joining the cast of J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII”.
Yerolemou’s role has yet to be specified, but given how believable he was in “Game of Thrones” as an expert with the sword, the BBC speculates he could be wielding a lightsabre in the upcoming sci-fi flick. The role is not likely to be a major one, however.
As for his acting prowess, the Greek thespian has years of experience on stage performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has also had several television roles, including BBC’s adaptation of the multi-award winning historical novel “Wolf Hall” by Hilary Mantel.
Another star who will be making the leap from Westeros to a galaxy far, far away is Gwendoline Christie, whom we all know as the utterly imposing Brienne of Tarth. Christie will reportedly have a more prominent role in the movie than Yerolemou, with some rumors suggesting she, too, will be brandishing a lightsabre.
“Star Wars: Episode VII” has already resumed filming in Buckinghamshire’s Pinewood Studios, following a short break due to Harrison Ford’s leg injury. It is expected to open on December 18, 2015. — TJD, GMA News
