Wonder Woman movie may be set in the 1920s – report

When the Wonder Woman movie was announced, everybody assumed that it would be set in modern times. However, Bleeding Cool reports that insider information actually points to the movie being set in the 1920s.

A speculated sequel might take place during World War II.

Last year, it was confirmed that Gal Gadot would be playing Wonder Woman in the upcoming "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.

This year, Warner Bros. released a press statement listing down the upcoming DC Universe movies. "Wonder Woman" is slated for release in 2017. — Bea Montenegro/JDS, GMA News
