Apple rolls out iOS 8.1.1 beta to developers

Apple has rolled out to developers the beta of iOS 8.1.1, the latest major edition of its operating system for mobile devices.

 

The beta contains bug fixes and aims to increase stability and improve performance especially for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, 9to5mac.com said.

 

But what is new is that it is the first time Apple is seeding beta for a patch update.
