The Joker might be played by Jared Leto in the Suicide Squad movie

Jared Leto is being targeted to play the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie by Warner Bros, according to Time. Other actors who might also take on roles in the movie include Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy, and Will Smith. Jesse Eisenberg, who will play Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, is also expected to play Luthor in the movie.

 

Neither Warner Bros. nor Leto’s representatives commented on the rumors.

 

The Suicide Squad comic series focuses on a group of villains who are participate in highly dangerous government black-ops missions. If they survive the missions, in exchange, their sentences are shortened.
