How to play Super Smash Bros on a calculator

Scientific calculators are about to get a lot less boring, thanks to a programmer who found a way to port Super Smash Bros. Melee to them.
Programmer "Hayleia" posted about the port as early as August but made the code available only last week on an online forum.
"I will probably only make Fox. But the engine is really modular which (will) allow you to create your characters and play them ingame without even having access to the source code (they will be in appvars in other words). Even if you want to play as an invincible leek that one-shot with every hit," Hayleia said in the August post.
Tech site Mashable said the playable characters for now include Fox and Falco, but other programmers can add to the list after Hayleia made the source code available.
Mashable said the stripped-down version of the game is playable on Texas Instruments' TI-83 and TI-84, which are education-oriented devices.
Both are graphing calculators for math and science. They have flash memory and allow users to upload apps. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
