Huawei releases LTE-capable octa-core smartphone


Huawei just released the Honor 6, an LTE-capable octa-core smartphone.
 
“People the world over are rethinking their lifestyles and designing a life that is founded on their true strengths and passions. We believe that our mobile phones should also cater to the needs and wants of consumers. The Honor 6 does just that,” said Niño Carandang, Honor Business Unit Manager.
 
It touts to be the first smartphone to support LTE Cat6, which enables a maximum download speed of 300 Mbps. The new octa-core architecture improves performance up to 200 percent, but with decreased power consumption.
