Google welcomes 2015 with festive doodle

Google on Thursday welcomed 2015 with a festive animated doodle. 

 

Visitors to Google’s homepage (www.google.com) were greeted with the word “Google,” which morphed into “2015” amid fireworks.

 

Clicking on the doodle will bring the visitor to a Search Results page for “New Year 2015.”

 

The doodle’s animation style was similar to the New Year’s Eve 2014 doodle on Wednesday.
