Google hides Flappy Bird clone game in Android Lollipop

Good news for fans of Flappy Bird, if they just got a device running Google's Android Lollipop.

It's not quite Flappy Bird but the Easter egg Google threw into its latest version of Android should do just as well, PC World reported.

Meet Flappy Droid, which can be accessed by going to Settings and scrolling to About Phone and tapping repeatedly on the Android version listing.

"Eventually, the Settings app will slide out of the way and will be replaced by an onscreen lollipop... Tap and hold the lollipop a few times, and eventually, a Flappy Bird-like game appears," it said.

Tapping the lollipop and holding down a second or two will start the "Flappy...Android" game.

Flappy Bird was a wildly popular mobile game in 2014, but its creator pulled it out, claiming it may have become too addictive. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
