All-new emojis bundled with OS X update

 

 

Expect Apple's OS X operating system for Mac to appeal to more users of different ethnic backgrounds with its expanded emoji character set.

 

A report on enthusiast site 9to5mac.com said OS X 10.10.3 (14D87h) also said the emoji technology category will include "updated iOS devices" and a new Apple Watch.

 

"While we saw a preview of the changes coming to the Emoji character set in the last build, the current build includes the racially diverse character set which allows users to pick from various skin tones on several different characters," it said.

 

Earlier, Apple released the first OS X 10.10.3 pre-release update to testers, with the Photos app that seeks to replace iPhoto.

 

Also, it said a new bar along the bottom of the window shows recommendations of new people to add to the Faces albums.
