‘ISIS sympathizers’ deface Natl Historical Commission webpage

At least one Philippine government web page was defaced by a group claiming to be sympathizers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

 

One page of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines bore a photo of militants waving a flag and waging war.

 

"Hacked By SaMi ChiChirovo... The iSLamiC State is Coming inshallah! I'm Muslim and I Love #ISIS," read the message on the defaced page (http://nhcp.gov.ph/resources-index/).

 

It also scored some countries and "all who hate ISLAMIC STATE," adding "Palestine will be free."

 

While the page was still defaced as of 4 p.m. Friday, its home page was still normal. There was also no sign of defacing on other government sites. —Joel Locsin/NB, GMA News
