WATCH: Avengers: Age of Ultron Final Trailer is a sizzle reel of awesome

With just a few weeks left until it hits theaters with a sensational super hero team-up movie like no other, Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures have released what is probably the most epic action-oriented “Final Trailer” to promote the Joss Whedon-directed sequel to 2012’s “The Avengers”!

 

 

Taking place a few years after the first film and following the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Age of Ultron sees Earth’s Mightiest Heroes united and seen as the premiere super hero team of the world following the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. With their success, Tony Stark/ Iron Man decides to make a peacekeeping program to help the heroes in their mission and give them some downtime. Unfortunately, this results in the creation of “Ultron” – an Artificial Intelligence that ultimately decides that humanity must be extinguished to save the planet. In order to fight this new foe, the Avengers must unite together and put aside any internal conflicts before it’s used against them.

 

Once again reprising their signature roles are Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/ Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/ Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/ The Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/ Hawkeye, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Joining the cast are Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver and Elizabeth Olsen as The Scarlet Witch, and James Spader as the voice of Ultron.

 

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters in the Philippines on April 22. — TJD, GMA News
