Samsung planning Iron Man-themed Galaxy smartphones

 

 

Samsung is teaming up with Marvel to launch "Iron Man" versions of the Korean tech giant's Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge phones, according to the Korea Times.

The phones will reflect the design of Iron Man's distinctive crimson-and-gold exosuit, the report said.

"The color of the new Iron Man phones will be red. We will decide on other details soon after discussions with Marvel Studio," the report quoted Lee Young-hee, Samsung's head of mobile marketing, as saying.

 

The phones are set to be released in late May or early June, according to Lee.

 

There may also be Marvel-themed “wallpaper, home screen icons and ring tones” likely available to most Samsung devices after July 31, it said. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
