‘League of Extraordinary Gentlemen’ reboot in the works

Film studio 20th Century Fox will reboot “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” movie in an attempt to turn it into a film franchise, Deadline Hollywood reported

The original “League” graphic novel was created by Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill in 1999. It was first adapted into a movie in 2003, and starred Sean Connery and Peta Wilson.

The movie only earned $178 million, leading to the cancelation of plans for a sequel. There was an attempt to turn it into a TV series in 2013, but this failed to materialize.
