Voicing Bubbles is Kristen Li, known for Monsters University (2013).

Li is also known for Broken Age (2014) and The Mis-Informant - with Jack Black as Nathan Spewman (2010).

Buttercup will be voiced by actress-writer Natalie Palamides, known for My Name Is Vivienne (2014), Burning Bridges (2013) and Minor Alterations (2014).

Other voices

Tech site Mashable said Cartoon Network announced Tom Kenny will voice the Narrator/Mayor as he did in the original series.

Missing old voices

Many fans took to Twitter to voice their excitement over the rebooted series.

"Soooo excited!!! The needed young girls for this relaunch!!!" said Lilly_art1.

"Well I like this change! This show needs a new beginning with new girls. I can't wait to see the shown," said SufiyahGirl.

But not all were happy, with many missing Bubbles' original voice actor Tara Strong.

"@cartoonnetwork why did you change Bubble's VA why not bring back @tarastrong?" said YoshinoVA, while RidaSubzwari said,"@cartoonnetwork you know it's not legit when @Tara strong doesn't voice bubbles." — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
