Final Fantasy VII remake confirmed

Many thought it was a fleeting dream. Some imagined it to be a hopeless request.

But after 18 longs years of persistence, rumors, and much speculation, the promise has finally been fulfilled!

In a surprise move, Square Enix unveiled the very first teaser trailer to  the remake everyone has been waiting for: Final Fantasy VII. The reveal was made during Sony’s press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Basically, no words can describe the resounding applause and frenzied reactions fans got after seeing THIS TRAILER.

That’s right FFVII fans – it’s really happening. The 1997 classic is getting a High Definition update for the next generation! The game will be coming first to Playstation, and will eventually make the leap to other platforms after it is released for the PS4. This is a far cry from the disappointments many Final Fantasy fans has during Sony’s Playstation Experience last December, where Square Enix basically announced that the PC Port of the original would be making the jump to the Playstation 4.

Now the world can rest easy and know that a true remake is coming.

No information on the release date of the FFVII Remake has been revealed, but the game will be directed by Tetsuya Nomura, longtime designer and director of the series. — TJD, GMA News
