Facebook’s ‘Hello’ dialer app gets new goodies with update
Hello, Facebook's mobile dialer app, has bulked up in terms of features in its second iteration, an Android-oriented site reported.
Android Police said version 2.0 of the dialer also sports a tweaked interface that offers more than Android's stock dialer.
"Chief among these are the ability to filter the contact view to just those contacts with phone numbers, and notifications for missed and blocked calls," it said.
Other features include:
- a new "card" layout for incoming calls that lets a user answer in one swipe
- allowing other apps to see Hello contacts, for sharing
- ability to manually edit a contact's profile photo
- integrated contact shortcuts
- support for right-to-left languages

The updated dialer also supports phones with dual SIM card slots.
But Android Police noted Hello works with current Android phones, but not tablets. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
