This bespoke Bentley Vertu mobile phone will cost you P1 million

If you're looking for a way to spend a million pesos, this luxury handmade phone could be for you.

The Vertu Signature for Bentley takes its inspiration from the Bentley Mulsanne Speed but will cost £14,500 (P1.028 million), Pocket-Lint.com said.

For that price, a buyer can get a mobile phone—not a smart phone, mind you, just the usual call and text options—but with a carbon fiber pillow sharing the same weave as the car, and a Beluga Black calf leather rear with leather from the same tannery as the car.

It also comes with customization options for different leathers and precious gems.

Pocket-Lint added the sapphire crystal keypad has each key on a ruby.

A separate report on T3.com said the phone also has a polished stainless steel side and tactile knurled finishes.

It added the phone boasts high-quality sound reproduction with side-mounted speakers and stereo widening software.

The phone, to be launched on September 18, is available for preorder. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
