Hasbro confirms upcoming M.A.S.K. merchandise

Could M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand), the popular 1980s toy line, be resurrected in time for its 30th anniversary this year?

A report by TFW2005.com said toy giant Hasbro is working on the franchise during its second-quarter financial call.

"(H)asbro has plans for it. This was first revealed on our sister site ToyArk and eight months later, Hasbro officially revealed it today," it said.

It also posted a slide of Hasbro's brand architecture where M.A.S.K. is included in "New brands".

A report on MTrakker.com - named after the show's main hero and MASK leader Matt Trakker - said the news appeared in a presentation Hasbro was giving for a company overview of 2015.

"While we don’t know for sure what this fully means for the product line, Hasbro has acknowledged it as a part of their branding," it said.
