Star Wars VII toys launched in PHL

At exactly midnight Thursday, September 3, the Philippines joined 11 other countries across the world in the unveiling of the Star Wars  VII: The Force Awakens toy collection at the SM Mall of Asia.

 

Eager fans and avid collectors lined up for the event dubbed #ForceFriday to glimpse and get first dibs on the new merchandise which included figurines, board games, and lightsabers.

 

The main celebration was hosted in Los Angeles, with live unboxings beginning in Sydney, Australia, and ending in Lucasfilm, home of Star Wars, in San Francisco.

 

The unboxing ceremony in Manila happened at 12:01AM on September 4.
