Spider-Gwen fan trailer pushes the case for female-led superhero movies

 

 

Website Vulture.com is apparently tired of waiting for the female-led superhero movies (specifically Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel) to hit the big screen and has taken matters into its own hands.

 

Video artist Alex Coulombe made a fake "fan trailer" for a Spider-Gwen movie, based on the Marvel comic series of the same name. Cosplayer Julianne Cancalosi helped create a Spider-Gwen costume and functioned as a stand-in for the action scenes in the trailer.

 

In the comic, Gwen Stacy is the one bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker. Spider-Gwen made her debut in Edge of Spider-Verse #2 before eventually getting her own solo series. — TJD, GMA News
